Your Calling Starts Here!
Every believer has a calling on their life, and we want you to not only discover it but thrive in it! Our vision is to help you grow into a mature and passionate leader in Christian ministry.
3-2-1 Let’s Go!
The SOM has 3 different tracks of leadership training: Pastoral Ministries, Glo-Cal (global and local) Missions, and Worship Ministry.
Whether you are called into full-time Christian ministry, or plan to lead ministry bi-vocationally, the School of Ministry will equip you for a joy-filled life, fully prepared to fulfill our one calling: the great commission.
All 3 tracks are 2 years in length and consist of typical classroom style learning and out-of-classroom practical applications, ie ministry internship, that prepares students to lead with strong biblical understanding and practical confidence. Students who sufficiently complete their studies will graduate with a certificate of completion.
Classes are formatted for the adult learner. Students take one class at a time over 6 weeks so that you’re able to focus on one topic at a time. This allows for a slightly accelerated learning and decreases distraction of having to take multiple classes at a time. All classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the NE Hillsboro area. We do not provide distance learning classes at this time.
"Over the past year I've found more joy in living and serving like Jesus. I knew in my heart I was called to give my whole life to Him, but it didn't feel like I was doing everything I could. The School of Ministry has provided me with direction, fellowship with like-minded people, and most of all a greater understanding of what it is like to really be a servant like Christ. The work isn't easy, but the choice to obey was"
